MedUX hires the former CEO of Spanish Telco operator, Francisco Arteche
Francisco Arteche will be a member of the Board of Directors and Strategic Advisor
MedUX, the leading Spanish multinational in monitoring and measurement of the user experience in the telecommunications industry, has appointed the former CEO of Euskaltel, Spanish Telco operator, Francisco Arteche, as a new member of the board of directors.
With the incorporation of Arteche, also as a strategic advisor, the aim is to reinforce growth, international expansion and contribute with his vision to the strategic plan of MedUX.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Francisco to our board of directors, since, thanks to his long career with managerial responsibilities in the technological world, both in the telecommunications sector, as well as in the cloud and IT sector, he will help us achieve the goals we have set for 2022” says Luis Molina, MedUX CEO.
Arteche, industrial engineer and MBA from IESE, is a professional with experience as a senior executive in multinationals from different sectors. He has held positions such as CEO of the Euskaltel Group, General Manager of Western Europe of the Consumer Division of Microsoft, and General Manager for Spain and Portugal of Electronic Arts.
The former CEO of Euskaltel will play an important role in the new and ambitious goals set in the recent MedUX financing round, including the opening of new markets, and the development of new business areas and new products and use cases, especially related to ultra-fast networks such as 5G, Wi-Fi6 or FTTx.
Nowadays, MedUX already monitors and compares the user experience and quality of service of more than 60 operators in 20 countries, and its clients include large telecommunications groups such as Vodafone, Orange, Telefónica, Millicom, América Móvil and AT&T, as well as government entities in Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica, Colombia and El Salvador.
“MedUX is developing a range of solutions that is unique in the market with advanced analytical techniques in real time and based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for the measurement and prediction of the quality of experience in fixed, mobile and television services. I am delighted to be able to contribute to MedUX’s growth objectives,” states Arteche.
