Measuring the QoS is the key to improve the Internet
You may be wondering: how can we improve the Internet? Definitely, we should be able to correctly measure the Internet Quality of Service, right? Well, French telecom regulator ARCEP agrees that a reliable analysis is essential to establish more accurate conclusions on Internet Quality. In its last report, published in June 2018, on the status of the Internet in France, the French organization fosters the importance of ensuring the proper functioning of the Internet given its crucial role in society. However, specific and appropriate measurement tools should increase its accuracy, transparency and clarity to “fine tune the scanner” and get a proper evaluation on the status of quality of the Internet service. In this concern, MedUX has contributed to the Internet checkup in France. Our MedUX HOME solution that allows simultaneous near Real-time measurement of the Quality of Service of Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks is part of the trusted ecosystem around quality of service measurement.
