MedUX in "The state of Internet in France"

MedUX, identified as one of the network monitoring systems in "The state of Internet in France" report

French regulator ARCEP has published in May 2017 the first report about the state of Internet in France (“État d’internet en France”). The aim of this report is to identify the threats that could undermine the internet's proper functioning and neutrality, guaranteeing its continued development as a common good. Several of the topics addressed in the published final document include the quality of fixed internet access, data interconnection, transition to IPv6 or the net neutrality. Frode Sørensen and Michiel Van Dijk, co-chairs of the European regulator BEREC, state in the report that “quality of service measurements have become increasingly relevant to regulators.” ARCEP has identified several hardware and software measurement tools. MedUX solution, by CASE on IT, was one of the two systems included in the study, that perform tests with physical probes.
