Denmark Mobile QoE in Q4 2025: Operator Benchmark, 5G and Network Experience

Published on April 9, 2026
Denmark Mobile QoE Q4 2025

Denmark’s mobile experience in Q4 2025 confirms why the country remains one of the strongest benchmarks in the Nordics for real-world mobile Quality of Experience (QoE). High 5G exposure, strong throughput, low latency and consistently solid app performance point to a market where network evolution is clearly translating into user-perceived quality.

This article summarises the main results of the MedUX mobile QoE benchmark in Denmark for Q4 2025, based on the country report published in the MedUX Connectivity Observatory. The Observatory brings together market-by-market operator benchmarks, making it easier to compare mobile network experience across speed, latency, jitter, 5G performance, coverage and service-level indicators.

A 5G-led market with strong effective exposure

A first signal of Denmark’s maturity is the technology mix behind the benchmark. In the Q4 2025 dataset, 87% of aggregated samples were captured on 5G, while 12.8% remained on 4G. Legacy technologies were already marginal. This places Denmark among the most advanced Nordic markets in effective next-generation exposure and provides a strong foundation for premium mobile network experience.

Denmark shows a highly balanced operator benchmark

At operator level, Denmark combines strong speed results with one of the most robust responsiveness profiles in the region. Norlys recorded the highest cloud download speed at 171.2 Mbps, while Telenor achieved the highest cloud upload speed at 31.6 Mbps. On the responsiveness side, 3 delivered the best ping result at 19.1 ms, and Telenor led gaming latency at 27.5 ms.

These results matter because mobile QoE is not defined by peak speeds alone. In mature 5G markets, user perception is increasingly shaped by the consistency and responsiveness of the network across everyday digital interactions.

Strong service performance across browsing, social and streaming

Denmark also performed strongly in app and service-level experience. Telenor achieved the fastest web browsing result at 1.39 seconds and the best social media loading time at 1.72 seconds. In streaming, Telenor recorded the fastest startup time at 1.72 seconds, while Norlys delivered the highest 4K streaming rate at 66.8%.
Taken together, these results show a market where leadership shifts by KPI, but where the overall experience remains consistently strong across operators and services. That is one of the clearest signs of an advanced mobile ecosystem.

What Denmark’s Q4 2025 results tell us

Denmark stands out in Q4 2025 as one of the most balanced mobile markets in the Nordics. The combination of high 5G exposure, strong download and upload performance, low-latency conditions and very competitive service results makes the country a reference point for mobile network experience in the region.
For operators, this means differentiation is increasingly happening in the details of quality delivery rather than in basic connectivity alone. For regulators, analysts and market observers, Denmark reinforces the importance of looking beyond advertised coverage and headline speeds to understand how mobile connectivity is actually experienced.

Methodology note

This analysis is based on the MedUX Connectivity Observatory and on MedUX’s mobile QoE benchmarking approach, built on large-scale real-world measurements collected from end-user devices. The benchmark combines network performance and service-level indicators to evaluate how users actually experience mobile connectivity across operators, including speed, latency, browsing, social media, gaming and streaming behavior.
